In the Middle Ages, Virgin with Unicorn was a frequent artistic motif. It's also a topic that I like to play with.
I replaced the innocent woman with female character of deep shadow. A fantastic one-horned creature surrounds her with his moonlight. Just like his horn was neutralizes poisoned water in old stories, it also illuminates the paths of his lady.
